Daňovka is a great asset for Česká spořitelna in the field of automation, digitisation and logistics.
We had several reasons for implementing Daňovka. The most important reason was the high number of processed tax returns. The large number of workplaces also played an important role. That is to say Česká spořitelna has branches all over the country. And last but not least, the company’s overall technological progress had to be taken into account.
Digitisation is on the rise everywhere, so it seemed like the most logical and appropriate solution here too. Electronic Daňovka has been of great benefit in the field of logistics. In the past, everything was sent by internal mail in paper format. Communication between the payroll department and employees was complicated. The whole process was very slow and time consuming. Everything changed with the advent of e-daňovka.

The process took place in planned steps. First proposals, comments, recommendations and finally a review. Step-by-step iterations. A team of about 30 employees proved to be useful in validating the proposed solution in every respect. They were also the future users of the application. Their feedback helped us a lot. It was mainly people from ČS, but Marek Dušek from StringData was also involved in the concept. The team that worked on the whole change worked together really well.
Very! We get positive feedback from employees about the app every year when we begin processing tax returns. We also use this period for new suggestions.
The time savings are obvious for payroll accountants and employees. Financial savings are basically linked to this. We also save on logistics, printing and paper, overtime and, last but not least, archiving. In addition, work on developing the application has paid off for the external company that supplied it, as they now offer it for commercial sale to other companies.

I could name several. Modernisation, digitisation, reliability, data security, accessibility and intuitiveness of the application. We are very happy. We can use the application all year round.
We process around 11,000 tax returns. That’s why digitisation has paid off so much for us.
Compared to the previous process, the current one is much clearer and simpler. Employees are provided with easy-to-understand explanations, which form a sort of guide through the whole application. Enquiries and consultations are now largely limited to more complex tax-related issues. In general, we focus on the wording and layout. We try to make everything clear, comprehensible and intuitive.

Definitely. Employees access their data using a unique identifier. Only an authenticated, authorised user can access the application. Of course, as in any application, monitoring is also available in this one.
We are gradually trying to incorporate certain suggestions from employees or payroll accountants into the application and in doing so, improve it. For example, payroll staff now have an electronic archive of tax documents at their disposal. And it certainly doesn’t stop there.
